Bazooka Advance Booking: Excitement is gradually picking up in Kerala as advance bookings for Bazooka, the upcoming Malayalam action thriller starring Mammootty, officially open today at 12 PM. Scheduled to release in theatres on April 10, 2025, the film marks the directorial debut of Deeno Dennis and features a storyline that combines elements of action and psychological drama.

Produced by Yoodlee Films and Theatre of Dreams, Bazooka features a noteworthy cast led by Mammootty and filmmaker-actor Gautham Vasudev Menon. The film presents a narrative in which a police officer and a businessman join forces in a strategic attempt to capture a serial killer, employing a set of planned moves and psychological tactics. Mammootty appears as the mysterious "Mr. Nobody," while Gautham Menon portrays ACP Benjamin Joshua IPS, adding tension to a storyline that balances crime and mind games.

The project has its roots in 2018, when Deeno Dennis initially developed a different script he hoped to direct. Though that idea didn't materialize, Deeno Dennis later wrote a new story, which gained traction after Mammootty encouraged him to take the director's chair. Over time, the idea took shape and eventually became Bazooka, marking Deeno Dennis' debut in feature filmmaking.

Filming commenced in May 2024, with major portions shot in Kochi. The production wrapped in October the same year. The film's technical team includes cinematographer Nimish Ravi, composer Saeed Abbas, and editors Praveen Prabhakar and Nishadh Yusuf, who bring their expertise to the table.

The ensemble cast features familiar names like Shine Tom Chacko, Sidharth Bharathan, Divya Pillai, Jagadish, Neeta Pillai, and Babu Antony, among others. Action sequences have been choreographed by Mahesh Mathew and Mafia Sasi, while production design has been handled by Shiji Pattanam, contributing to the film's overall texture and tone.
