Bazooka Box Office Collection: Bazooka, a Malayalam action thriller, marks the directorial debut of Deeno Dennis, who also wrote the screenplay. The film features Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon and is produced by Yoodlee Films in collaboration with Theatre of Dreams.

Dennis had initially developed an earlier version of the script around 2018, but the project moved forward only after Mammootty encouraged him to direct it. First announced in 2022 by producers Dolwin Kuriakose and Jinu V. Abraham, the current version of Bazooka was officially introduced in April 2023. Filming began in Kochi in mid-May and concluded in October 2024. The film hit theaters on 10 April 2025. With music by Saeed Abbas, cinematography by Nimish Ravi, and editing by Nishadh Yusuf and Praveen Prabhakar, Bazooka received a mixed response upon release.

As Bazooka entered Day 11, the film experienced a significant drop in theatrical traction, with collections tapering off across most centers. The current box office trend indicates that the film's run in the state is approaching its end.

Bazooka Synopsis

Benjamin Joshua, a determined police officer from Kochi, sets out to catch a gang of serial robbers who commit thefts in disguise, targeting specific locations. As the investigation unfolds, he discovers that the criminals are mimicking the pattern of a video game. Running parallel to this pursuit, retired forensic expert and ethical hacker John Caesar steps in to assist Benjamin in identifying and tracking the group behind the crimes.

Bazooka features Mammootty in the role of Aryan Acharya, who also appears as John Caesar (Fake) and Bazooka. Gautham Vasudev Menon plays ACP Benjamin Joshua IPS, while Divya Pillai appears as Annie Benjamin. Sidharth Bharathan takes on the role of CI Arjun Ramaswamy, and Iswarya Menon plays Jovita. Shine Tom Chacko makes a cameo appearance as Franco Salvatore.
