The project began in March 2018 when Dennis pitched the script to Mammootty. Though initially not intending to direct, Dennis stepped into the role at Mammootty's suggestion. The film was officially announced in April 2023, and production began in Kochi the following month, concluding in October 2024.

Bazooka brings together a varied ensemble cast, with Mammootty playing Antony John, an ethical hacker and businessman, and Gautham Vasudev Menon portraying ACP Benjamin Joshua, a police officer from Kochi City. The film also stars Babu Antony, Neeta Pillai, Gayathiri Iyer, and Divya Pillai. Jagadish, Sidharth Bharathan, Iswarya Menon, and Shine Tom Chacko appear in supporting roles.

The film is both written and directed by Deeno Dennis, with production handled by Dolwin Kuriakose, Jinu V Abraham, Vikram Mehra, and Siddharth Anand Kumar. Suraj Kumar and Sahil S Sharma serve as co-producers, with Aashish Mehra and Anurodh Gusain credited as executive producers. Nimish Ravi handled the cinematography, while the editing was done by Praveen Prabhakar and Nishadh Yusuf. Saeed Abbas composed the music and background score. Sanchoo J is the production controller, while Badusha N M supervised project design. Action choreography is by Mahesh Mathew, Vicky, PC Stunts, and Mafia Sasi, with production design by Shiji Pattanam. Sujith Suresh is the chief associate director.
