Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 Runner-Up Rewards: The grand finale of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 marked the conclusion of a 100-day journey that kept audiences glued to their screens. The season, known for its emotional confrontations, tactical gameplay, and unexpected turns, came to an end on Sunday, November 9, with Anumol lifting the trophy and Aneesh finishing as the runner-up.

The finale began with five contestants: Anumol, Aneesh, Akbar, Nevin, and Shanavas vying for the title. Host Mohanlal led the proceedings live on Asianet, while the event was simultaneously streamed on JioHotstar. The night opened with vibrant musical and dance performances, creating a celebratory atmosphere for the much-anticipated conclusion.

As the evening progressed, the first eviction of the finale saw Akbar exiting the competition, followed by Nevin and then Shanavas. This left Anumol and Aneesh as the top two contenders for the Bigg Boss Malayalam title. In the final moments, Mohanlal announced Anumol as the winner, bringing a close to one of the most closely followed seasons of the Malayalam edition. Aneesh, meanwhile, created history as the first commoner contestant to reach both the top five and the top two positions in the show's history.

As part of the prize distribution, Anumol received a cash award of ₹42,55,210 and a Maruti Suzuki Victori car. Aneesh, who finished second, was presented with a full set of home appliances sponsored by MyG, in addition to a smartphone valued at ₹2 lakh. He will also take home his remuneration for his time on the show.

This season saw some notable format changes that influenced the prize money structure. The signature "money box" twist, which allowed contestants to walk away with a partial prize amount before the finale, was not included. Instead, the makers introduced a new "Money Week" format, in which contestants earned cash from the winner's prize pool through various tasks. The original prize fund of ₹50 lakh was eventually reduced to ₹42,55,210 after these deductions.

Grand Finale Performances

The grand finale was packed with performances and celebratory moments. Musician Job Kurien and his band set the tone early in the evening with a live concert, followed by energetic dance numbers from Binny Sebastian, Shaitya Santhosh, Appani Sarath, and Abhilash. Singer K.S. Chithra joined the stage for a special performance, while Mohanlal also launched the upcoming season of Star Singer during the telecast.

Actor Aryan was recognized as the Best Task Performer of the season and received a diamond necklace sponsored by Regal Jewellers. The event closed with Mohanlal escorting the final two contestants, Anumol and Aneesh, to the stage for the announcement, bringing Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 to a grand finish.
