Dies Irae OTT Release: Dies Irae is a Malayalam horror thriller film written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, with Pranav Mohanlal in the lead role. Produced by Chakravarthy Ramachandra and S. Sashikanth under the Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios banners, the film is now preparing for its digital streaming debut.

The film follows Rohan, an Indo-American architect who has returned to Kerala and is navigating life between two cultural identities. His routine is disrupted after he learns about the death of his former classmate and Bharatanatyam dancer, Kani. A visit to her home to pay respects leads to a chain of events that begins quietly but soon takes a disturbing turn. As Rohan experiences a series of unexplained occurrences, he is forced to seek the help of someone with knowledge of traditional spiritual practices. The narrative unfolds through fragments from Kani's past while examining how unresolved events influence the present. The film's storytelling moves between personal grief, memory, and the idea of lingering spiritual unrest.

Dies Irae shares continuity with Rahul Sadasivan's earlier works Bhoothakaalam and Bramayugam, placing it within the same thematic universe. The technical crew includes cinematographer Shehnad Jalal, whose visuals play a significant role in establishing the film's mood, and editor Shafique Mohammed Ali. The background score and songs are composed by Christo Xavier, with sound design by Jayadevan Chakkadath and sound mixing by M. R. Rajakrishnan.

The cast features Gibin Gopinath as Madhusudhanan "Madhu" Potti and Jaya Kurup as Elsamma, while Arun Ajikumar, Sreedhanya, Madan Babu K., Sudha Sukumari, and several others make up the supporting ensemble. Dies Irae was released worldwide on October 31, 2025, coinciding with Halloween, a window that aligned with its genre. Following its theatrical run, the film is now set for its digital release.
