Dies Irae OTT Release: The Malayalam horror thriller Dies Irae, starring Pranav Mohanlal, is currently running in theaters following its worldwide release on October 31, 2025. The film, written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, is a joint production of Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios, with Chakravarthy Ramachandra and S. Sashikanth serving as producers. While the film shares continuity with Bhoothakalam and Bramayugam, the narrative stands as an independent story exploring supernatural occurrences and their connection to past events.

Set in Kerala, the story follows Rohan Shankar, an Indo-American architect leading a comfortable life until a former acquaintance's death triggers unsettling experiences in his home. Disturbed by the escalating supernatural phenomena, Rohan seeks guidance from Madhu, a local versed in traditional exorcism practices. Together, they investigate the source of these mysterious events, uncovering connections between restless spirits and the hidden histories of those around Rohan.

Industry tracker AB George's recent X post reports that the digital rights for Dies Irae have been acquired by a leading streaming platform in the Mollywood market, with an indication that JioHotstar may host the film. The film features Pranav Mohanlal in the lead role, supported by Gibin Gopinath, Jaya Kurup, Arun Ajikumar, Sreedhanya, Madan Babu K., Sudha Sukumari, Subha Sumithran, Manohari Joy, Swathi Das, Prabhu, Athulya Chandra, Anagha Ashok, Saheer Mohammed, Manoj Moorthy, Nidhinya Pattayil, Priya Sreejith, and Saiju Kurup in a cameo as George.
