Sandeep Pradeep s Eko Box Office Collection Day 13

Eko Box Office Collection: The Malayalam mystery thriller Eko̅, led by Sandeep Pradeep, has continued its theatrical run into its second week with steady footfalls, even as daily collections show the typical midweek slowdown. As per early estimates reported by box office tracking portal Sacnilk, the film collected approximately ₹20.05 crore net in India by the end of its 13th day in theaters. With today, December 4, marking Day 14 of its run, the focus now shifts to how the film sustains itself during the remainder of its second week.

Eko̅ opened in cinemas on November 21 and recorded a modest start on its first Friday with collections of around ₹0.8 crore. The film saw a sharp rise over its opening weekend, with Saturday and Sunday bringing in roughly ₹1.85 crore and ₹3.05 crore, respectively. The strong Sunday pushed its opening weekend total past the ₹5 crore mark, giving the film a solid initial base.

Weekdays during the first week showed a gradual decline, with collections ranging between ₹1.2 crore and ₹1.7 crore from Monday to Thursday. By the end of its first seven days, the film had accumulated approximately ₹11.65 crore net in India. The second Friday saw a mild recovery with about ₹1.45 crore, followed by another upward swing over the second weekend. Saturday of the second week contributed around ₹2.25 crore, while Sunday added an estimated ₹2.55 crore, indicating renewed interest over the weekend.

However, the second Monday onwards followed the expected drop, with collections falling to around ₹0.8 crore on Day 11 and ₹0.75 crore on Day 12. Early numbers for Day 13 (second Wednesday) suggest earnings of about ₹0.60 crore, taking the cumulative total to ₹20.05 crore net in India.

Eko Movie Overview

Directed by Dinjith Ayyathan, Eko̅ marks his reunion with cinematographer-writer Bahul Ramesh after their earlier collaboration in Kishkindha Kaandam. The film features an ensemble cast including Vineeth, Narain, Binu Pappu, Ashokan, Biana Momin, Sim Zhi Fei, NG Hung Shen, Ranjith Shekhar, and Saheer Muhammed in key roles, alongside Sandeep Pradeep in the lead. The story is set in the mist-covered hills of Kaattukunnu and follows parallel lives caught in a web of myth, crime, and moral conflict.

The film also holds significance as the concluding part of Bahul Ramesh's so-called "Animal Trilogy," which includes Kishkindha Kaandam and Kerala Crime Files: Season 2. Eko̅ is the first production venture of MRK Jhayaram under the Aaradyaa Studios banner and features music by Mujeeb Majeed with editing by Sooraj E S.

As the film enters Day 14 today, trade observers will be watching closely to see whether it can maintain sufficient momentum through the rest of the week to push its total beyond the ₹22-23 crore range domestically.
