Eko Box Office Collection Day 6 Crosses 10 Crore

Eko Box Office Collection: The Malayalam mystery thriller Eko, starring Sandeep Pradeep in the lead, continues its theatrical run with steady collections after completing six days at the box office. Released in cinemas on November 21, 2025, the film has so far managed to collect an estimated ₹10.4 crore at the India net box office, according to box office tracking site Sacnilk. As of today, November 27, the film has entered its seventh day in theaters, with trade observers closely watching its weekday performance.

Directed by Dinjith Ayyathan and written and shot by Bahul Ramesh, ekō marks the duo's reunion after their previous collaboration, Kishkindha Kaandam. The film is backed by MRK Jhayaram under the banner of Aaradyaa Studios, making it the studio's first production venture. Along with Sandeep Pradeep, the cast includes Vineeth, Narain, Ashokan, Binu Pappu, Biana Momin, Sim Zhi Fei, NG Hung Shen, Ranjith Shekhar, and Saheer Muhammed in key roles.

At the box office, Eko opened on a modest note on its first Friday, earning an estimated ₹0.8 crore. The film saw a sharp rise on Saturday with collections of around ₹1.85 crore, followed by further growth on Sunday, when it brought in approximately ₹3.05 crore. As expected for a weekday cycle, the film witnessed a drop on Monday, collecting about ₹1.7 crore, followed by ₹1.65 crore on Tuesday. On its sixth day, Wednesday, the film added an estimated ₹1.35 crore to its total, bringing the six-day cumulative figure to ₹10.4 crore, as per Sacnilk.

Eko: Storyline and Technical Crew

The narrative of Eko unfolds in the mist-laden hills of Kaattukunnu and revolves around the lives of Mlaathi Chedathi and Peeyoos as they navigate a series of unexpected challenges. At the center of the story is Kuriyachan, a complex figure whose identity as a businessman and outlaw blurs the boundaries between folklore, memory, and consequence. The film explores themes of power, longing, and moral uncertainty against a rural, atmospheric backdrop.

Notably, Eko forms the concluding chapter of Bahul Ramesh's so-called "Animal Trilogy," following Kishkindha Kaandam and Kerala Crime Files: Season 2. Though the three projects are standalone narratives, they share thematic links rooted in crime, ethics, and the symbolic presence of animals.

The technical crew includes Mujeeb Majeed as the music composer, Sooraj E S as the editor, and Sajeesh Thamarassery as the art director, with audiovisual work handled by Vishnu Govind. With its first week nearing completion, the film's performance over the coming days will determine how strongly it sustains its momentum during the rest of its theatrical run.
