Empuraan Box Office Collection Day 4 Early Updates: Empuran has emerged to be one of the biggest releases in Malayalam movie industry on which movie goers have had high hopes on. The movie marks Mohanlal's comeback on silver screen after his 2024 release Barroz, where he played the titular role. Although the movie couldn't do well at the box office, Empuraan has showed its potential on the very first day by recovering more than 10% of the budget of the movie, which was made on Rs. 180 Cr. However, on day 4, the movie has surpassed all the expectations and set to beat opening day's collection.
The action-drama is helmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, and penned by Murali Gopy. Bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor, Subaskaran Allirajah, and Gokulam Gopalan through Aashirvad Cinemas, Lyca Productions, and Sree Gokulam Movies, L2: Empuraan is the second installment of the Lucifer trilogy and it revolves around the events that were shown in its prequel, Lucifer.

On day 4, the movie is set to beat opening day's numbers which was Rs. 21 Cr. The movie has earned Rs. 20.56 Cr as of 8pm on day 4, according to the early updates of Sacnilk. The film has seen significant rise in collection on day 4 compared to day 3 & 2 when it earned Rs. 13.25 Cr and Rs. 11.1 Cr respectively. To note more, the movie has still 2 hours to perform at the box office before it closes. Today's collection is expected to rise even more, and it will lie somewhere between Rs. 23-27 Cr.
With this, the total India nett collection of the film stands at Rs. 65.91 Cr as of 8pm on day 4. For the unversed, the amount is more than 4x compared to Mohanlal's last film Barroz's lifetime collection.
