Empuraan Box Office Collection Day 6 Prediction: With as many as 19 edits and bringing down the runtime by two minutes, Mohanlal's hyped political action-thriller Empuraan, aka Lucifer 2, is continuing to showcase strength at the box office worldwide. By five days of its theatrical release, L2: Empuraan breached the Rs 200 Crore mark, first after Manjummel Boys and the second Malayalam film to achieve the feat. The movie witnessed a slight drop by about 30% in India but still made Rs 9.57 Crore on a holiday Monday.

Mohanlal's film underwent a minimum of 17 cuts following the protests and controversies. The new version was screened starting the film's first Monday (Day 5). The movie is, however, continuing to perform rock-solid at the box office in all languages and breached the Rs 200 Crore mark, beating Chhaava in 2025 as the fastest milestone grosser.
