This staggering figure marks the biggest single-day collection ever by an Indian film in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region, surpassing previous records set by Baahubali 2 and Leo. The phenomenal response underscores Mohanlal's unparalleled overseas popularity and the film's strong appeal among Gulf audiences.

L2: Empuraan features Mohanlal in the lead as Khureshi Ab'raam, also known as Stephen Nedumpally, with Prithviraj Sukumaran portraying Zayed Masood and Karthikeya Dev playing the younger Zayed. The film's ensemble cast includes Abhimanyu Singh, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Indrajith Sukumaran, Andrea Tivadar, Jerome Flynn, Kishore, Sukant Goel, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Eriq Ebouaney, among others.
