Empuraan Evening Occupancy (Malayalam) Day 6: Empuraan aka L2: Empuraan, which is the sequel of Mohanlal's hit Lucifer, marks the return of the Malayalam superstar on the silver screen after his earlier directorial, Barroz's failure, where he also played the titular role. The movie, which is helmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, stars Prithviraj himself alongside Mohanlal, other than them, it also features Caroline Koziol, Rick Yune, Jerome Flynn, Andrea Tivadar, among others. Based on the fictional storyline that revolves around 2002's Gujarat riots, the movie is produced by Lyca Productions, Aashirvad Cinemas, and Sree Gokulam movies.
Coming to the occupancy, the movie has seen a sharp in footfall in its all shows today, that negatively impacted its collection as well. Even in terms of evening occupancy, the thriller drama has seen a dip on day 6.

Even in morning shows and afternoon shows, the movie witnessed a sharp dip in footfall. While on day 5, the movie has seen 56.84% in morning, on day 6, it decreased to 39.21%. On afternoon shows, the movie has seen 71.58% footfall on day 5, while on day 6, the movie witnessed 52.01% footfall.
According to the early updates of Sacnilk, the movie has seen overall 49.41% Malayalam occupancy as of 9pm on day 6.
