Empuraan Box Office Collection: Empuraan, also titled L2: Empuraan, is the follow-up to the 2019 Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer and marks the second installment in the planned Lucifer trilogy. The action-packed thriller stars Mohanlal in the lead and is helmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, with a script by Murali Gopy. It is jointly produced by Antony Perumbavoor and Gokulam Gopalan under the banners of Aashirvad Cinemas and Sree Gokulam Movies, with Lyca Productions presenting the film.

According to film industry tracker AB George's latest update on X (formerly Twitter), Empuraan has grossed ₹75.79 crore at the Kerala box office over a span of 10 days. The film opened on a Thursday with ₹14.07 crore, followed by ₹8.45 crore on Friday and ₹9.02 crore on Saturday. The Sunday collection stood at ₹11.02 crore, and Monday brought in ₹10.52 crore. Collections gradually declined during the weekdays, with ₹8.54 crore on Tuesday, ₹5.55 crore on Wednesday, and ₹3.38 crore on the second Thursday. The second weekend added ₹2.38 crore on Friday and ₹2.86 crore on Saturday. With this, the film has maintained a steady run in its home state over its first ten days.

Empuraan Cast and Crew
Empuraan features Mohanlal in the dual role of Khureshi Ab'raam and Stephen Nedumpally, with Pranav Mohanlal appearing in a cameo as the teenage version and Adarsh seen as the younger self through archive footage from Lucifer. The ensemble cast includes Prithviraj Sukumaran as Zayed Masood, Karthikeya Dev as young Zayed, and Abhimanyu Singh as Balraj Patel (also known as Baldev or Baba Bajrangi). Tovino Thomas plays Jathin Ramdas, Manju Warrier portrays Priyadarshini Ramdas, and Nikhat Khan appears as Subhadra Ben. The film also stars Andrea Tivadar as Michele Menuhin, Jerome Flynn as Boris Oliver, and Indrajith Sukumaran as Govardhan. The film's cinematography is handled by Sujith Vaassudev, music composed by Deepak Dev, and editing by Akhilesh Mohan. Executive producers Suresh Balaje and George Pius oversee the project, which is designed by Prithviraj Productions.
