Feminichi Fathima OTT Release: Award-winning Malayalam film Feminichi Fathima was released in theaters on October 10, 2025, under Wayfarer Film Release. Directed by Fasil Muhammed, the film explores issues of gender equality, cultural expectations, and individual empowerment through the story of its central character, Fathima. The narrative follows a seemingly ordinary incident, an attempt to buy a new mattress, that sparks a series of events, leading Fathima to challenge the control of her husband and reclaim her independence.

The film was previously screened at the 29th International Film Festival of Kerala, where it attracted attention for its socially relevant storyline. Shamla Hamza, portraying Fathima, received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress for her performance, highlighting her central role in conveying the film's themes.

After its theatrical stint, the film is set for digital streaming. Starting from December 12, 2025, Feminichi Fathima will be available on the OTT platform manoramaMAX, allowing viewers to access the film from home in Malayalam.

Feminichi Fathima features a supporting cast including Kumar Sunil as Ashraf Usthad, and Viji Viswanath as Soora. Pushpa Rajan appears as Umma, while Akash Prahladan plays Muthu, and Hanana Parveen takes on the role of Aamina. Other notable cast members include Akhil Nazim as Asif, Praseedha as Jameela, and Raji R Menon portraying a Tamil scrap collector. Mini Teacher appears as Rukiya, Babitha Basheer as Shana, and Unni as Koya. Ashraf Powerstone and Abhilash Chungath play Usthad and Usthad 2 respectively, with Rinsha as Engineer Ramla and Agney as the Assistant. Post-production work included DI colour grading by Joji D Parakal at South Studios, Kochi, with Hisham Yousaf handling DI editing.
