Firoz Chuttipara Announces Break From YouTube Cooking Videos, Teases Big Change Ahead

Firoz Chuttipara Takes Break From YouTube Videos

Firoz Chuttipara Announces Break From YouTube: Firoz Chuttipara, who gained recognition through his elaborate and unconventional cooking videos on YouTube, has announced that he is stepping back from the platform to focus on a new business venture. The decision was made public during a recent live session streamed from Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates yesterday.

Over the years, Firoz built a considerable following through his large-scale cooking experiments, both in India and abroad. His content stood out for featuring massive quantities of food and exotic ingredients, which often stirred online conversations. Some of these videos, including one where he prepared 12 kg of deer curry and another where he grilled a crocodile, have gone viral. Firoz and his team have also regularly donated the food prepared during these shoots to orphanages, adding a philanthropic dimension to their work.

Amid Shifting Trends, Firoz Turns To Business

However, not all of his content was received without controversy. A particularly debated episode involved a plan to prepare a peacock curry in Dubai. The idea drew criticism online, especially from those who pointed out that the peacock is India's national bird and is legally protected in the country. Although the bird was procured legally in Dubai, Firoz ultimately decided to replace it with chicken following the backlash. A similar stir had occurred earlier when he bought live snakes from a market in Vietnam and cooked them for a video, a move that was met with mixed reactions.

Now, Firoz says he's entering a new phase. He revealed plans to launch a new brand in the UAE, which he described as aiming to be both affordable and high in quality. While specifics of the venture remain under wraps, he clarified that it would not be in the restaurant business.

"As of now, everyone is on Instagram, making reels. On the other hand, we've been doing lengthy videos. So, we're planning to shift focus to short-form content," he said during the live stream. He added that though he is stepping back from full-length YouTube videos, he is not entirely quitting the platform. Instead, the move is aimed at reducing reliance on YouTube as a primary source of income.
