Coolie 2 and War 2 dominated the first three weeks of August 2025 with their pre-release promotional activities and post-release box office figures. It was the clash of the Titans as Rajinikanth locked horns with Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR in the cinema halls.

Interestingly, the buzz for both films has now died down. It's now time for Lokah and Hridayapoorvam to rise and shine at the box office. Both Malayalam films have received positive reviews from the critics and the audience.

Lokah is the clear winner in terms of worldwide box office collection, with a comfortable margin over Hridayapoorvam.

One fan described Lokah as a masala entertainer with the perfect mix of ingredients. He said, "This movie has everything: Great Direction, Acting, Cinematography, VFX, SFX and Music. Im really amazed to see movie made with a budget of 30cr that can compete with international level. Honestly, this is the type of movie we audience, should appreciate and promote in India (sic)."

Talking about Hridayapoorvam, another user said, "First half of the movie gave the feel good vibe of a typical sathyan anthikkad cinema. There was an unwanted stretch in the second half that could have been made a lot better! Mohanlal in his comfortable best is always a pleasure to watch. Watching an anthikkad film with none of his regulars except the last cameo gave a post film pinch in the heart (sic)."
