Janaki V vs State Of Kerala Box Office Day 4 Collection

JSK Box Office Collection: Janaki V v/s State of Kerala, the Malayalam courtroom drama led by veteran actor Suresh Gopi and directed by Pravin Narayanan, has completed its first four days at the Indian box office with a total collection of approximately ₹3.81 crore (net). The film, which was released on July 17, 2025, has received attention not just for its subject matter but also for the delays surrounding its release.

According to box office tracking platform Sacnilk, the film opened with ₹1.1 crore on Thursday. This was followed by a slight dip on Friday, with ₹1 crore collected. The downward trend continued into Saturday and Sunday, with ₹0.9 crore and ₹0.81 crore estimated, respectively. All collections are attributed solely to the Malayalam version of the film, as no dubbed versions were released.

Delayed Release

The release of Janaki V v/s State of Kerala was postponed from its original date of June 20 due to objections raised by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) over the use of the name "Janaki" in the title and character. The delay led to a legal dispute between the producers and the CBFC, with the film eventually releasing on July 17.
