Early on Sunday morning, film industry tracker AB George shared an update on X stating that Kerala's Day 3 advance bookings for Kalamkaval stood at approximately ₹2.17 crore as of 12:04 AM. The post also indicated that Day 2 collections had surpassed Day 1 in the state. These numbers reflect advance ticket sales only and not the final Day 3 earnings, which will be available after the completion of all shows later tonight. As with all early trade data, the figures remain subject to revision based on final reporting.

The Malayalam crime thriller, directed by debutant Jithin K. Jose, opened in theaters on December 5. Over its first two days, the film collected an estimated ₹10.25 crore net in India, according to Sacnilk, with around ₹5 crore on Friday and approximately ₹5.25 crore on Saturday.
