Kalamkaval Kerala Advance Bookings Time: The upcoming Malayalam crime thriller Kalamkaval, featuring Mammootty and Vinayakan in pivotal roles, is set to begin its advance bookings in Kerala tomorrow. Produced by Mammootty Kampany and directed by debutant Jithin K. Jose, the film is a Malayalam-language neo-noir crime thriller centered on an investigative narrative.

Kalamkaval also stars Gibin Gopinath and Rajisha Vijayan in supporting roles. The screenplay has been co-written by Jithin K. Jose and Jishnu Sreekumar. The film was initially scheduled for release on November 27, 2025, but the date was later postponed to December 5, 2025.

Ahead of its release, Mammootty Kampany shared on social media: "The Wait is Getting Over. Kalamkaval Kerala Bookings Open Tomorrow at 11.11 am," confirming the official start of advance ticket sales in Kerala. The film's teaser was unveiled on August 28, 2025, followed by the trailer premiere on November 13, 2025, giving audiences an early look at the film's tone and narrative setting.

Kalamkaval Synopsis and Cast

Set in the quiet village of Kottayikonam, Kalamkaval follows a routine Kerala Police inquiry that takes an unexpected turn as seemingly minor clues begin to expose deeper, unresolved mysteries. The investigation unfolds through a series of strategic obstacles and challenges, gradually revealing a web of interconnected cases.

The technical team behind Kalamkaval includes Faisal Ali as director of photography, Mujeeb Majeed as music composer, and Praveen Prabhakar as editor. Production design is led by Shajie Naduvil, while MR Rajakrishnan oversees the final sound mix. Other key contributors include Action Santhosh for stunts, Kishan Mohan for sound design, and Vishwa Fx handling visual effects work. Costume design is by Abhijith C, with color grading managed by Liju Prabhakar.
