Kalamkaval Trailer Release: The much-awaited Malayalam action crime thriller Kalamkaval, starring Mammootty and Vinayakan, is gearing up for its theatrical release later this month. The film is directed by debutant Jithin K. Jose, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Jishnu Sreekumar, and is scheduled for a worldwide release on November 27, 2025.

The film's teaser, which dropped on August 28, 2025, offered viewers a brief glimpse into its world. More recently, the lyric video for "Nilaa Kaayum," released on November 11, further expanded the film's presence online, giving audiences a preview of Mujeeb Majeed's musical composition.

The announcement regarding the film's official trailer was made by Mammootty through his social media handles, confirming that it will be unveiled on Thursday, November 13, at 6 PM IST.

According to the makers, Kalamkaval revolves around a routine investigation by the Kerala Police in the quiet village of Kottayikonam that takes an unforeseen direction when a series of minor findings lead to a chain of unsettling discoveries. As the inquiry progresses, it exposes long-unresolved mysteries connected to earlier cases. The narrative unfolds through the officers' efforts to navigate deliberate obstacles placed in their way, revealing the challenges that complicate their search for the truth.

Technical Crew and Production Details

The technical team behind Kalamkaval features cinematography by Faisal Ali and editing by Praveen Prabhakar. Shajie Naduvil has overseen the production design, while sound design has been handled by Kishan Mohan under Sapthaa Records. Stunt coordination is led by Action Santhosh, and the film's final mix is supervised by MR Rajakrishnan.
