Directed by Ahammed Khabeer and produced under the Monkey Business banner, the series was shot over two months beginning February 19, 2024. Principal photography took place in Thiruvananthapuram and wrapped on April 29, 2024. The post-production was completed by August of that same year. Bahul Ramesh, served as the writer and cinematographer of the season 2.

Among the supporting cast of Kerala Crime Files Season 2 are Harisree Asokan, Renjit Shekar, Sanju Sanichen, Suresh Babu, Navas Vallikunnu, Noorin Shereef, Jeo Baby, Shibla Fara, and Bilas Chandrahasan.
