Kerala Film Critics Award 2024 Full Winners: Amid huge excitement, the winners of the 48th Kerala Film Critics Award have been announced. Apart from the prestigious Kerala State Film Awards, the Kerala Film Critics Award stands out as the only private film accolade in the state selected by a jury.

The winners are selected through a well-defined procedure that includes inviting film submissions and conducting special screenings for evaluation.

WHO WON WHAT AT THE KERALA FILM CRITICS AWARD 2024?

The 48th edition of the Kerala Film Critics Awards 2024 has honoured some of the finest talents in Malayalam cinema. Fasil Muhammed's Feminichi Fathima was honoured as the Best Film of the year. The critically acclaimed project was produced by Thamar KV, Sudheesh, and Fasil Muhammed and stood out for its compelling storytelling and impactful performances.

Marking a significant moment for women in cinema, filmmaker Indu Lekshmi was awarded Best Director for her bold and thought-provoking work in Appuram.
In the acting categories, Tovino Thomas took home the Best Actor award for his remarkable performances in ARM and Anweshippin Kandethum. Meanwhile, the Best Actress honour was jointly awarded to Nazriya Nazim for her nuanced portrayal in Sookshmadarshini and Rima Kallingal for her powerful performance in Theatre - The Myth of Reality.

The awards were officially announced by Dr. George Onakkur, jury chairman and president of the Kerala Film Critics Association. The jury panel also included Thekkinkad Joseph, Dr. Aravindan Vallachira, Dr. Jose K. Manuel, and A. Chandrasekhar-each bringing deep insight and experience to the selection process. The awards this year not only recognized outstanding talent but also embraced diversity and emerging voices in Malayalam cinema.
