Kingdom Kerala Box Office Collection: Vijay Deverakonda's latest film, Kingdom, has recorded a day-one gross of ₹50 lakh in Kerala, according to industry tracker AB George. The Telugu spy drama, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, was released in cinemas worldwide on July 31, 2025. The film's distribution in Kerala was handled by Wayfarer Films, the company headed by Dulquer Salmaan.

Kingdom, released in Kerala, managed to draw modest footfalls on its opening day. The ₹50 lakh gross indicates a reasonably decent start for a non-Malayalam-language film in the state, especially given the regional competition and midweek release. It is also said to be the biggest opening for a Telugu film in Kerala in 2025

Kingdom is the first installment in a planned duology. The film features Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role, with Satyadev and Bhagyashri Borse in prominent supporting roles.

Principal photography began in June 2023 and reportedly spanned multiple locations, including Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kothamangalam (Kerala), Thandikudi, Nagercoil, and Sri Lanka. The Kerala connection is not just limited to the filming locations; cinematographers Girish Gangadharan and Jomon T. John, both associated with Malayalam cinema, handled the film's visuals.

The film's music is scored by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his second collaboration with director Gowtam Tinnanuri after Jersey. The editing has been done by Naveen Nooli, while the production design is by Avinash Kolla.

Kingdom's production journey was not without delays. Filming was paused several times due to scheduling conflicts and resumed intermittently, with Vijay Deverakonda also reportedly sustaining a minor injury during the shoot in late 2024.

With Kerala contributing ₹50 lakh to its opening day, all eyes are now on how the film performs over the weekend in both its primary and secondary markets.
