Mohanlal's Empuraan Story leaked? Mohanlal's hyped and awaited sequel written by Murali Gopy and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, Lucifer 2 aka L2: Empuraan, is making waves with its exciting updates ahead of its grand movie and theatrical trailer release. The movie's trailer is coming up on March 20 and the movie will hit the screens on March 27. The trailer was shown first to superstar Rajinikanth and Prithviraj Sukumaran shared his joy with his fans and netizens.

L2: Empuraan Synopsis

The movie picks up from where Lucifer left off. It follows the life of Stephen Nedumpally, who is also living another life as Kureshi Ab'raam, a powerful crime syndicate kingpin. His journey takes a new turn after family secrets emerge, unravelling a deadly game of power, survival, and revenge.

Five years after the revelation of the Khureshi-Ab'Raam nexus, the land in particular and the world, in general, is caught in yet another epoch-defining socio-political storm.

God's Own Country is now a land of dangerous unpredictabilities, with multiple forces trying to impact upon and dictate its political plate tectonics.

It has now become infested with power brokers, bureaucratic meddlers and deeply embedded spies in all state institutions. As the events turn from bad to worse, it is time to rekindle memories revisit the past and reignite old fires.
