Mammootty Not Diagnosed With Cancer, PR Team Dismisses Rumors And Clarifies Actor’s Health Status: Report

Mammootty Not Diagnosed with Cancer, Says PR Team: Rumors circulating on social media platforms claimed that renowned Malayalam actor Mammootty had been diagnosed with cancer. However, reports state that the actor's official spokesperson has refuted this claim.
According to a report by Mid-day, Mammootty's Public Relations Officer (PRO) confirmed that the news about the actor's health condition is completely false. The PRO, reportedly based in Kerala, clarified that Mammootty is taking time off from his shooting schedule for personal reasons related to the ongoing Ramzan fasting period. The statement emphasized that his break is part of his religious observance and not due to any health-related concerns.
According to a report by Mid-day, Mammootty's PR reportedly responded to the rumors, stating, 'It is fake news. He is on vacation because he is fasting for Ramzan. He is also on a break from his shoot schedule for the same reason. After this break, he will return to shooting for Mahesh Narayanan's film.'
Mammootty's Upcoming Films
Mammootty's upcoming projects include the action-thriller Bazooka, which is scheduled to be released on April 10. The film, also starring Babu Antony, Iswarya Menon, Neeta Pillai, and Gayathri Iyer, promises to be an exciting addition to his filmography. Recently, the actor was seen in Dominic and the Ladies' Purse, an investigative comedy directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, which hit theaters on January 23.
In addition to Bazooka, Mammootty is working on a highly anticipated project with another Malayalam film icon, Mohanlal. The Mahesh Narayanan directorial (tentatively titled AJFC_MMMN) will be the first film to feature both superstars in prominent roles after a long hiatus since Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty (2013). Produced by Anto Joseph Film Company, the movie will also star Kunchacko Boban and Nayanthara.
