Marco OTT Release: Marco, a Malayalam neo-noir action thriller, premiered in theaters on December 20, 2024. Written and directed by Haneef Adeni, the film is produced by Shareef Muhammed under the Cubes Entertainments banner. Unni Mukundan takes on the lead role, supported by Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S. Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, and Yukti Thareja. The film's soundtrack is composed by Ravi Basrur, with cinematography by Chandru Selvaraj and editing by Shameer Muhammed.
A standalone spinoff of the 2019 film Mikhael, Marco brings back familiar characters while introducing a fresh narrative. Although the two films are not directly connected, Marco expands the cinematic universe with its own storyline.
The film had a worldwide theatrical release on December 20, 2024, aligning with the Christmas season. Its Hindi-dubbed version was also released on the same day, followed by the Telugu version on January 1, 2025, the Tamil version on January 3, 2025, and the Kannada version on January 31, 2025. Known for its intense and violent action sequences, Marco has reportedly become the highest-grossing A-rated Malayalam film of all time.
Now, the film is set for its OTT debut on SonyLIV. Streaming will begin on February 14, allowing audiences to enjoy Marco in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada from the comfort of their homes.
