In her post, Meera wrote that she is at a most wonderful and peaceful phase of her life. Following the announcement, followers also noticed that she had taken down photographs and videos featuring Vipin, including images from their wedding ceremonies and personal moments shared over the past year.
Meera and Vipin married in May 2024 in Coimbatore. The two reportedly met on the sets of the Malayalam serial Kudumbavilakku, where Meera played the lead role and Vipin worked as the show's cameraman. Their friendship developed during the production and later turned into a relationship. Vipin, a native of Palakkad, has also been involved in documentary work alongside his contributions to television.
This was Meera's third marriage. She was previously married to actor John Kokken, with whom she has a son. Before that, she was married to Vishal Agarwal. Meera has spoken in the past about the different phases of her personal and professional life, often reflecting on the challenges she encountered and the lessons she carried forward.
Earlier this year, in April, Meera marked 25 years in the film and television industry. She entered Malayalam cinema with the 2005 film Thanmathra, directed by Blessy, where she starred alongside Mohanlal in a role that received critical appreciation. After a period focused on film work, she eventually returned to television, where she once again built a strong connection with the audience.
