Narivetta Ticket Bookings: Advance bookings for Narivetta, the upcoming Malayalam political thriller starring Tovino Thomas, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Cheran, will open tomorrow, May 21, at 10 AM IST. The film is slated for a theatrical release on May 23, 2025, and is expected to see a wide rollout across Kerala and other key centers.

Directed by Anuraj Manohar and written by Abin Joseph, Narivetta marks the Malayalam debut of Tamil actor and director Cheran. Produced by Tippushan and Shiyas Hassan under the Indian Cinema Company banner, the film is positioned within the political thriller genre, with a storyline centered on a police constable's entanglement in complex social and personal dynamics.

The narrative follows the character Varghese, an armed police constable whose life is shaped by the pressures of his profession, responsibilities at home, and the volatile political environment around him. The film was primarily shot in locations across Alappuzha, Kottayam, and Wayanad, with principal photography beginning in late July 2024.

The cast also includes Arya Salim, Pranav, Priyamvada Krishnan, and Shahi Kabir in supporting roles. Behind the scenes, the film features music composed by Jakes Bejoy, cinematography by Vijay, and editing by Shameer Muhammad. Several technicians are involved across departments, including production design by M. Bawa, stunts choreographed by Phoenix Prabhu, and sound design led by Ranganaath Ravee.

Cheran's involvement in the film has drawn attention, as this project marks his first appearance in Malayalam cinema. Meanwhile, Tovino Thomas and Suraj Venjaramoodu return to familiar territory with intense, character-driven roles in a socio-political setting.
