Narivetta Worldwide Box Office Collection: Tovino Thomas' Movie Crosses ₹22 Crore Mark Globally

Narivetta Box Office Collection: Tovino Thomas' latest release, Narivetta, directed by Anuraj Manohar and rooted in the socio-political landscape of Kerala's tribal regions, has made steady progress at the box office, crossing the ₹22 crore mark globally as it nears the end of its second week in theaters.
The film, which hit theaters on May 23, 2025, explores themes of land rights, indigenous resistance, and the role of state institutions. Set against the backdrop of the 2003 Muthanga tribal protest, Narivetta stars Tovino Thomas as Varghese Peter, a police constable posted to a remote tribal area, where growing unrest over land eviction and forest rights forms the core of the narrative.
According to the latest report from industry tracker AB George, Narivetta has grossed approximately ₹13.3 crore from Kerala alone. The film's overseas collections and earnings from other parts of India have helped push the total worldwide gross to over ₹22 crore. While the film opened to a moderate response, word-of-mouth and interest in its socio-political subject have likely contributed to its sustained performance over the past two weeks.
