Nisha Sarangh Speaks Out: Malayalam actress Nisha Sarangh, widely recognized for her portrayal of Neelima in the popular sitcom Uppum Mulakum, has spoken candidly about the personal and professional challenges she has faced in recent years, including rumors that reportedly impacted her family.

In a recent interview with Asianet News Online, Nisha Sarangh shared her experiences navigating the film and television industry over the past 26 years and addressed rumors that circulated during her time on a particular set.

The actress, who began her career in 1999 with the film Agnisakshi, has consistently maintained a reputation for professionalism. In her conversation with Asianet News, she spoke about the pride she takes in having spent more than two decades in the entertainment industry without giving anyone a reason to speak ill of her. "That is something I've earned, and it means I never have to lower my head in front of anyone," she said.

Despite her extensive work in television, Nisha Sarangh has occasionally faced challenges when balancing film opportunities with serial commitments. "When you're committed to serials, it's hard to take up movie roles. Sometimes, I felt those roles just weren't meant for me," she remarked.

From Set Conflicts to Family Questions

Nisha Sarangh revealed that her proactive involvement on sets, especially when tensions arose among colleagues, may have made her a target. "Whenever there was any issue on set, I would step in to resolve it. That's my nature," she said.

However, she believes that her decision to defend a technician, who was reportedly falsely accused of taking a commission, led to professional backlash. The technician, she said, was suffering from kidney-related health issues and was unfairly removed from work. When Nisha Sarangh discovered that a fellow colleague was behind the rumors, she confronted him directly and urged him, as well as others on set, not to spread falsehoods. "I knew even then that taking a stand would have consequences, but I wasn't afraid," she said.

Following this confrontation, Nisha Sarangh said she began facing problems instigated by the same individual. Gossip and rumors started circulating, including a false claim that she was romantically involved with another actor and planning to marry him. The situation escalated to the point where her own daughters asked her about the rumors.

"It was difficult," she admitted. "Thankfully, I've always had my family's support. My younger daughter lives with me, and my elder one lives in Kakkanad. My mother and siblings have also stood by me."

With her latest statements, Nisha Sarangh has publicly addressed the rumors that affected her personal and professional life, clarifying the circumstances that led to their spread and reaffirming her decision to stand her ground in the face of such challenges.
