According to film industry tracker AB George, Officer On Duty has amassed an impressive ₹37 crore in worldwide gross collections within just 10 days. The film has performed exceptionally well in Kerala, raking in approximately ₹19 crore till yesterday. With digital rights already secured by Netflix and other deals set to close for a substantial amount, the film has turned out to be a massive success. This box office triumph marks a huge profit for the producers and a significant victory for Kunchacko Boban.

Officer On Duty Synopsis

Harishankar (Hari), a strict and short-tempered police officer recently demoted to CI, takes on a case involving Chandrababu, a man caught trying to mortgage a counterfeit gold chain. What initially seems like a minor offense soon leads him down a dark path, uncovering a string of brutal crimes that ultimately tie back to a haunting chapter from his past.

Kunchacko Boban headlines Officer On Duty as CI Harishankar, with Priyamani portraying Geetha and Jagadish as Chandrababu. Vishak Nair takes on the role of Christy Savio, while Vishnu G. Warrier plays Sathya Mithiran. The film also features Leya Mammen, Aishwarya Raj, Amit Eapen, Meenakshi Anoop, Ramzan Muhammed, and Vaisakh Shankar in key roles, alongside notable appearances by Eithal Evana Sherin, Unni Lalu, Sampath Ram, Srikant Murali, Raghunath Paleri, Padmaraj Ratheesh, and C. Directed by Jithu Ashraf and scripted by Shahi Kabir, the film is produced by Martin Prakkat, Renjith Nair, and Siby Chavara.
