Officer On Duty Box Office Collection: The much-awaited Malayalam crime thriller Officer On Duty, directed by Jithu Ashraf, released in theaters on February 20, 2025. Starring Kunchacko Boban and Priyamani in lead roles, the film is written by writer-director Shahi Kabir and jointly produced by Martin Prakkat Films and The Green Room, headed by Siby Chavara and Ranjith Nair.
With cinematography by Roby Varghese Raj-best known for directing Kannur Squad-the film features music by Jakes Bejoy and editing by Chaman Chakko.
According to film industry tracker AB George's post on X (formerly Twitter), Kunchacko Boban's Officer On Duty is exceeding trade expectations with a sensational trend at the box office. The film grossed over ₹2.75 crore in Kerala on Saturday, pushing its state total toward the ₹9 crore mark for the weekend. Globally, the film is expected to achieve an impressive ₹19-20 crore opening weekend. With a terrific Sunday ahead, Officer On Duty continues its strong performance at the box office.
Officer On Duty Synopsis
Harishankar, a demoted Circle Inspector, investigates a fake gold jewellery case that soon entangles him in a perilous clash with vengeful criminals. As the stakes rise, he must navigate deadly twists that put both his career and life on the line.

Directed by Jithu Ashraf, Officer On Duty features Kunchacko Boban, Priyamani, Jagadish, and Vishak Nair in key roles. The film, written by Shahi Kabir, is produced by Martin Prakkat, Renjith Nair, and Siby Chavara.
Roby Varghese Raj handled cinematography, while Jakes Bejoy composed the music, and Chaman Chakko took charge of editing, with Saiju Sreedharan editing the trailer. Jineesh Chandran served as the creative director, Dileep Nath led production design, and Shabeer Malavattathu managed production control.
The film's sound mix was handled by Vishnu Sujathan, with sound design by KC Sidharthan and Sankaran AS. Ronex Xavier was responsible for makeup, while Sameera Saneesh designed the costumes. Lyrics were penned by Vinayak Sasikumar and Suhail Koya, and the action sequences were choreographed by Dhilip Subbarayan and Vicky Nandagopal.
