Officer on Duty Now on OTT: The Malayalam action thriller Officer on Duty, directed by Jithu Ashraf in his directorial debut, is now available for digital streaming. Following its theatrical release on February 20, 2025, the film began streaming on Netflix on March 20, offering audiences the chance to watch it in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada.

Officer On Duty Storyline

Harishankar is a strict and hot-tempered police officer (DYSP) who has recently been demoted to the rank of CI. His investigation begins when he receives a complaint about a man named Chandrababu attempting to mortgage a fake gold chain. This seemingly minor case leads him down a dark path, uncovering a series of gruesome crimes tied to his own past tragedy. As he delves deeper, he realizes that Christy is the mastermind behind these events. Despite Christy's warning to drop the case, Harishankar refuses to back down. The film explores Harishankar's struggle to cope with his personal tragedies while relentlessly pursuing Christy and his gang.

Officer on Duty features Kunchacko Boban in the lead role as DYSP/CI Harishankar, with Priyamani portraying his wife, Geetha. Jagadish plays Chandrababu, a KSRTC conductor, while Vishak Nair takes on the role of the main antagonist, Christy Savio.
