P. Jayachandran's Funeral Tomorrow; Public Viewing Today In Thrissur As Kerala Pays Tribute To Iconic Singer

P. Jayachandran's Funeral Tomorrow: Kerala mourns the loss of renowned playback singer P. Jayachandran, who passed away at 7:45 p.m. yesterday. He was admitted to a private hospital in Thrissur after collapsing at his home. Despite medical efforts, his life could not be saved.

According to reports from Asianet News, the singer's body will be taken from the hospital mortuary in Thrissur to his sister's residence in Poonkunnam after 8 a.m. today. A public viewing has been arranged at the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Hall in Thrissur from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for fans and admirers to pay their respects.

Following the public homage in Thrissur, the body will be transported back to the residence in Poonkunnam before being taken to his ancestral home in Paaliyatthu, North Paravur, tomorrow morning. Another public viewing has been scheduled at the ancestral home from 9 a.m. onwards.

The funeral rites will take place at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Paaliyatthu house in Chendamangalam, Paravur. Family, friends, and admirers of the iconic singer are expected to gather to bid a final farewell.

P. Jayachandran, celebrated for his melodious voice and significant contributions to the Indian music industry, leaves behind a legacy cherished by millions. Kerala joins in paying heartfelt tributes to the beloved artist.
