Directed by debutant Manu Swaraj, Padakkalam blends elements of comedy, fantasy, and the supernatural. The story revolves around four academically successful, comic-book-obsessed students who find themselves thrust into an unusual mission. Their confrontation with a charming yet sinister professor sets the stage for a series of comedic and fantastical events. The screenplay has been co-written by Swaraj and Nithin C Babu.
