Ponman Premise

Set in coastal Kollam, Ponman follows PP Ajesh (Basil Joseph), a jewelry specialist who lends gold to brides' families in exchange for their wedding cash gifts. When a family falls short on repayment, Ajesh embarks on a tense quest to reclaim the gold, uncovering deeper societal issues surrounding dowry and wealth.
