Pravinkoodu Shappu OTT Release: Pravinkoodu Shappu, a Malayalam black comedy crime thriller, hit theaters on January 16, 2025. The film marks the directorial debut of Sreeraj Sreenivasan, who also penned the screenplay. Backed by Anwar Rasheed under the banner of Anwar Rasheed Entertainment, it features Soubin Shahir, Basil Joseph, and Chemban Vinod Jose in lead roles, with Chandini Sreedharan, Shivajith, and Shabareesh Varma in supporting roles.

Pravinkoodu Shappu is set to make its digital streaming debut on Sony LIV from April 11. The Malayalam black comedy crime thriller will also be available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. When toddy shop owner Komban Babu is found hanging after a stormy night, a police officer interrogates the 11 people who stayed behind drinking and playing cards. As the investigation unfolds, hidden truths emerge, leading to the mystery of what really happened that night.

Written and directed by Sreeraj Sreenivasan and produced by Anwar Rasheed, the film features cinematography by Shyju Khalid, music by Vishnu Vijay, and editing by Shafique Mohamed Ali. Gokul Das handled production design, with Vishnu Govind on sound design. AR Ansar served as the executive producer. Lyrics were written by Mu.Ri, Vinayak Sasikumar, and Suhail Koya, with vocals by Shakthisree Gopalan and others. Ronex Xavier managed makeup, Sameera Saneesh designed costumes, and Kalai Kingson choreographed action sequences.
