Prince and Family Kerala Box Office Collection: Dileep's 150th film, Prince and Family, which hit theaters on May 9, 2025, has completed six days at the Kerala box office. According to early estimates from film industry tracker AB George, the comedy-drama has managed to collect a gross of ₹6.07 crore in the state by the end of Day 6. The film's estimated collection for May 14 (Day 6) alone stands at ₹0.82 crore.

Prince and Family: A Family Comedy Starring Dileep

Directed by debutant Binto Stephen and written by Sharis Mohammed, Prince and Family is a family-oriented comedy featuring Dileep in the titular role. The story revolves around Prince, the eldest son of the Chakkalakkal household, who stands out in his large family as the only one still single. The narrative explores whether fate has a partner in store for him, blending humor and familial themes in its storytelling.

Alongside Dileep, the film also stars Dhyan Sreenivasan, Siddique, Bindu Panicker, Johny Antony, Manju Pillai, and Josekutty Jacob in major roles. Ashwin Jose, Meenakshi Madhavi, Raniya Raanaa, and Rosebeth are among the supporting cast. The film features cameo appearances by Urvashi and Vineeth Thattil David.

Prince and Family was produced by Listin Stephen under the Magic Frames banner, with Justin Stephen serving as co-producer. The film was reportedly shot over 85 days across locations in Ooty, Kozhikode, and Ernakulam. Behind the camera, Renadive handled cinematography while Sagar Dass took charge of editing. Music for the film was composed by Sanal Dev, with lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar and Manu Manjith.

The production also included an extensive crew with Akhil Raj Chirayil on production design, Sameera Saneesh and Venki managing costumes, and Rahim Kodungallur in charge of makeup. The sound mix was done by M. R. Rajakrishnan, and the film's sound design was provided by Sync Cinema.

Despite being positioned as a feel-good family entertainer, the film's performance at the box office has been modest so far. Whether it can sustain momentum in the coming days remains to be seen as it continues its theatrical run across Kerala.
