Directed by debutant Binto Stephen and scripted by Sharis Mohammed, Prince and Family features Dileep in his 150th film role as Prince Chakkalakkal, an introverted fashion designer who owns a bridal boutique. The film's narrative centers on Prince's marriage to Chinju Rani, played by Raniya Raanaa, a vibrant social media vlogger whose extroverted nature contrasts sharply with his. This clash of personalities in a conservative setting forms the crux of the film's comedic and dramatic situations.

The supporting cast includes Dhyan Sreenivasan as Jince, Prince's younger brother; Siddique and Bindu Panicker as the parents of the Chakkalakkal family; and Johny Antony, Manju Pillai, and Josekutty Jacob. The film also features cameo appearances by Urvashi and Vineeth Thattil David.
