Ronth Box Office Collection Day 3 Prediction: Dileesh Pothan And Roshan Mathew's Film Poised For Strong Sunday

Ronth Box Office Collection Day 3 Prediction

Ronth Box Office Collection Prediction: Shahi Kabir's latest directorial venture, Ronth, which opened in theaters on June 13, 2025, is gradually building momentum at the Kerala box office. The film, a night-patrol-based cop drama led by Dileesh Pothan and Roshan Mathew, appears to have benefited from growing word-of-mouth and is expected to see a solid performance today, its third day, which falls on a Sunday.

According to early estimates shared by industry tracker AB George, Ronth collected over ₹80 lakh on its second day, outperforming its Day 1 numbers. With the two-day Kerala gross pegged at ₹1.41 crore, trade observers now anticipate a stronger turnout on Day 3, driven by the weekend footfall and positive reception from early audiences.

Ronth: A Cop Drama Set During A Night Patrol Shift

The film revolves around two police officers on "ronth duty," a term referring to overnight patrolling. The senior officer, portrayed by Dileesh Pothan, is a quiet, troubled man haunted by his past, while Roshan Mathew's character is his younger, more idealistic partner. Their tense relationship unfolds over a series of charged encounters during their shift, ultimately forcing them to confront deep-seated fears and ethical dilemmas.

Ronth is Shahi Kabir's second directorial project, coming after his debut with Ela Veezha Poonchira. Known more widely for his writing, he previously penned the acclaimed Nayattu, which earned him the Best Screenplay award at the 69th National Film Awards. His screenwriting credits also include Joseph and Officer on Duty, the latter of which enjoyed commercial success.

Ronth is backed by a robust production team, with Junglee Pictures presenting the film in association with Festival Cinemas. Producers include Vineet Jain, Rathish Ambat, Renjith EVM, and Jojo Jose. The film also features a technically strong crew: cinematography by Manesh Madhavan, editing by Praveen Mangalath, and music by Anil Johnson.

The supporting cast includes Sudhi Koppa, Arun Cherukavil, Krisha Kurup, Nandanunni, Lakshmi Menon, and child actor Baby Nandhootty.

Ronth, with its focus on character-driven storytelling and police procedural elements, has drawn interest from viewers looking for a different take on the cop drama genre. As the film is on its first Sunday, all eyes are on whether it can maintain or improve upon its current trajectory. Official Day 3 numbers are expected to be released by Monday.
