Ronth OTT Release Date: The Malayalam cop drama Ronth, starring Dileesh Pothan and Roshan Mathew, is set for its digital premiere. After its theatrical release on June 13, 2025, the film is now heading to streaming. The OTT platform has confirmed that Ronth will be available to watch on JioHotstar starting July 22, 2025.

Directed and written by Shahi Kabir, Ronth is produced under the banners of Junglee Pictures and Festival Cinemas, with Vineet Jain, Rathish Ambat, Renjith EVM, and Jojo Jose serving as producers. The announcement of its OTT release was shared by JioHotstar on their social media platforms, bringing clarity to viewers who had missed the theatrical run or were awaiting its digital debut.

According to the filmmakers, Ronth explores the psychological and emotional toll of policing through the lens of two contrasting officers. The story revolves around a senior police officer burdened by a haunting past and his newly assigned, idealistic junior partner. Set primarily during night patrols, their relationship begins with friction due to conflicting worldviews and professional approaches. However, circumstances force them into a reluctant partnership. As the events escalate, a critical incident puts both their careers at risk, pushing them to face deeply personal fears and ethical dilemmas.

The film features a strong ensemble cast including Sudhi Koppa, Arun Cherukavil, Krisha Kurup, Nandanunni, Lakshmi Menon, and child actor Baby Nandhootty. The cinematography is handled by Manesh Madhavan, while editing responsibilities were taken up by Praveen Mangalath. The soundtrack of the movie comes from composer Anil Johnson.
