The movie was released in 2019 and features an ensemble star cast like Fahadh Faasil and Sai Pallavi in the lead role along with Atul Kulkarni, Renji Panicker, Shanthi Krishna and Sudev Nair, among others. The movie also features Prakash Raj in a cameo but pivotal role. According to the reports, the drama is loosely inspired by Hollywood film, Stonehearst Asylum, that came in 2014. Helmed by Vivek and bankrolled by Raju Mathew, the movie minted Rs. 10.82 Cr in the box office during its lifetime run. The movie revolves around an isolated mental hospital in Kerala where a psychiatrist tries to unravel the past of an autistic patient.

On the work front, Fahadh Faasil was last seen in Pushpa 2 alongside Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. Faasil is all set to make his Bollywood debut in Imtiaz Ali's film alongside Triptii Dimri, on the other hand, Sai Pallavi is all set to be paired with Naga Chaitanya in Chandoo Mondeti's film.
