Thudarum Advance Booking: Mohanlal and Shobana reunite on screen in Thudarum, a Malayalam crime drama set to hit theaters tomorrow, April 25, 2025. Helmed by Tharun Moorthy, with the screenplay jointly written by him and K. R. Sunil, the film also features Farhaan Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, Irshad Ali, and Aarsha Chandini Baiju, among others, in key roles. Produced by M. Renjith under the Rejaputhra Visual Media banner, Thudarum completed its 99-day shoot between April and November 2024, with music composed by Jakes Bejoy.

According to box office tracker What The Fuss, Thudarum is showing strong momentum in the final hours before release, with its opening day advance sales inching close to the ₹2 crore mark at the Kerala Box Office (KBO). The film has clocked in 1,141 shows with 1,13,307 admissions so far, grossing ₹1.91 crore and recording an overall occupancy of 33.32%. This promising pre-release performance signals solid initial interest in the Mohanlal-starrer as it gears up for its theatrical debut.

Thudarum Synopsis

In the serene hill town of Ranni in Pathanamthitta, Shanmughan leads a modest life as a taxi driver. His greatest attachment is to his aging Ambassador car-more than just a vehicle, it holds the place of family in his heart. Though his days appear simple, Shanmughan's journey is marked by struggles that reveal the depth of his devotion and how far he'll go to protect what he cherishes most.

Thudarum features Mohanlal in the role of Shanmugham, with Shobana playing Lalitha. The ensemble cast also includes Farhaan Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, Irshad Ali, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Thomas Mathew, Krishna Prabha, Prakash Varma, and Aravind.
