Thudarum Box Office Collection Day 5 Prediction: Mohanlal-Shobana's Film Drops A Bit; Steady Run Continues

Thudarum Box Office Collection Prediction Day 5: Mohanlal and Shobana joined forces after a very long time for a decent thriller titled 'Thudarum' set against a family backdrop and the protagonist's priced possession, an Ambassador car. The movie which was directed by Tharun Moorthy and co-written by K.R. Sunil opened to sensational word-of-mouth on April 25. After the movie with Farhaan Faasil and Arjun Ashokan hit the screens, the interest around Thudarum grew manifold owing to the highly critical reviews. The movie experienced a rush at the box office in India and abroad, especially in the Gulf countries. Within the first weekend, Thudarum movie earned a stunning Rs 70 Crore worldwide, which is a testimony to the promising big week.

In Thudarum, Mohanlal played a taxi driver Shanmughan who lives with his doting family at Ranni, Pathanamthitta. What he does to protect his family and his car when a crisis arises, is an opportunity for the Malayalam veteran to showcase his subtleness of powerhouse talent. Immediately after re-writing the history of Malayalam cinema with his biggest industry grosser, L2: Empuraan, the actor is again conquering the ticket windows worldwide.

With an immense positive response, Thudarum which was also released in Telugu experienced a drop by 33% on its first Monday.
