Thudarum Box Office Collection Day 13 Prediction: Mohanlal's Film Sees Midweek Dip After Strong Second Weekend

Thudarum Box Office Collection Prediction: As Thudarum, the Malayalam-language crime thriller featuring Mohanlal in the lead, enters its 13th day in theaters, early trends suggest a notable drop in collections compared to its strong second weekend. The film, which opened on April 25, 2025, has performed consistently well through its theatrical run so far, though a typical midweek slump appears to be setting in as the third weekend approaches.
According to an X post by box office tracker What The Fuss yesterday, the film recorded advance bookings of over ₹1.90 crore on its second Wednesday (Day 13), retaining around 50% of the previous Wednesday's ₹3.93 crore. While a slowdown at this stage is not unusual, the industry will be closely watching how the film performs in the coming days amid new releases and declining footfalls.
Thudarum All Language Box Office Collection Day 13 Prediction
As per Indian box office tracker Sacnilk, Thudarum earned an estimated ₹79.74 crore India net on its first 12 days at the box office.
Day-wise India Net Collection
Day 1 [1st Friday]: ₹5.25 crore
Day 2 [1st Saturday]: ₹8.6 crore
Day 3 [1st Sunday]: ₹10.5 crore
Day 4 [1st Monday]: ₹7.15 crore
Day 5 [1st Tuesday]: ₹6.5 crore
Day 6 [1st Wednesday]: ₹6.4 crore
Day 7 [1st Thursday]: ₹7 crore
Week 1 Total: ₹51.4 crore
Day 8 [2nd Friday]: ₹5.4 crore
Day 9 [2nd Saturday]: ₹6.2 crore
Day 10 [2nd Sunday]: ₹7.5 crore
Day 11 [2nd Monday]: ₹4.85 crore
Day 12 [2nd Tuesday]: ₹ 4.4 crore
Day 13 [2nd Wednesday]: ₹ 3.75 crore (based on data reported by Sacnilk)
Total Collection: ₹ 83.5 crore
Thudarum maintained consistent momentum over its first 12 days, though the second Wednesday figures point to a more tempered pace ahead. The film has so far collected nearly ₹80 crore in net earnings from India, reflecting steady audience turnout during its theatrical run.
The film's advance sales for Day 13 hint at reduced audience momentum, a trend commonly observed midweek. With upcoming releases across multiple languages set to hit theaters by Friday, the third weekend will be crucial in determining how well Thudarum continues its theatrical run.
Thudarum Approaches Third Week at the Box Office
Directed by Tharun Moorthy and co-written with K.R. Sunil, Thudarum explores the quiet, domestic life of a taxi driver named Shanmugham-nicknamed Benz-whose life spirals out of control following a chain of troubling events tied to his beloved car. The narrative, set in the town of Ranni, gradually unfolds into a crime thriller that examines power, loss, and justice.
The story was developed from an encounter co-writer K.R. Sunil had during his travels as a documentary photographer. Director Tharun Moorthy was brought on board later. Mohanlal had reportedly been attached to the project from its early scripting phase.
Mohanlal plays the central role of Shanmugham "Benz," while Shobana appears as Lalitha, his wife. Other key cast members include Prakash Varma, Farhaan Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, and Aarsha Chandini Baiju.
Produced by M. Renjith under the Rejaputhra Visual Media banner, the film boasts a technical team led by cinematographer Shaji Kumar and music composer Jakes Bejoy. Editing was handled by Shafeeque VB and Nishadh Yusuf.
After a stronger second weekend, the film's box office pace began to ease starting Monday, with a more noticeable slowdown by Tuesday. Thudarum now faces the dual challenge of maintaining footfalls and competing with new content entering cinemas this weekend. While the film has comfortably crossed the ₹75 crore milestone, sustaining momentum through the third week will depend on word-of-mouth and continued audience interest.
The coming days will provide a clearer picture of whether Thudarum can set additional box office records. For now, Thudarum remains a film that has managed to find its audience, with a story and performance that captured attention. Whether this resonance translates into sustained box office strength remains to be seen as the film enters its third week.
