Thudarum Breaks Bheeshma Parvam Box Office Collection Record: Mohanlal Beats Mammootty In Gulf; Deets Inside

Thudaram Surpasses Bheeshma Parvam Gulf Weekend Box Office: Mammootty and Mohanlal are two leading and living legends of the Malayalam cinema. Mohanlal, who made heads turn with the humongous success of his recent industry hit L2: Empuraan is now back on the big screen already. His latest crime thriller, titled 'Thudarum' is winning at the box office game worldwide.

Thudaram, directed by Tharun Moorthy, stars Shobana, Arjun Ashokan, Farhaan Faasil, and Prakash Varma among others in key roles. The movie opened to sensational positive word-of-mouth on April 25 and was also released and dubbed in Telugu. Mohanlal's film made over Rs 70 Crore in its opening weekend and is continuing to hold command.

According to Forum Reelz, a Mollywood film portal, Mohanlal's latest release Thudarum surpassed the Gulf box office collection of Mammootty's Bheeshmaparvam within three days. While Bheeshmaparvam made $2.54 million in four days, Thudaram already made $3.195 million in three days, which is its opening weekend. With Empuraan and Lucifer in the first and second places, Mohanlal now also took third place for the top weekend Gulf collection for any Malayalam movie to date.

After Bheeshmaparvam, there are Mammootty's Turbo, Mohanlal's Pulimurugan in the fifth and sixth places. Varshangalakushesham, Kurup, Marakkar, and Aavesham are also on the list.

Bheeshma Parvam is also a star-studded action thriller with Farhaan Faasil, Sreenath Bhasi, Soubin Shahir, Sudev Nair, and Shine Tom Chacko playing key roles.

Bheeshma Parvam charts the life of Michael, who wields power over the family due to his past experiences. His young family members unite with the enemies to bring Michael down after his involvement becomes too much.
