Thudarum Advance Booking: Advance bookings for Thudarum, the upcoming Malayalam crime drama starring Mohanlal and Shobana, opened across Kerala this morning and have already shown strong momentum. The bookings officially began at 10 AM today, and as per early estimates by industry tracker AB George, the film's pre-sales in the state have crossed ₹1 crore within the first few hours, indicating solid audience interest ahead of its theatrical release on April 25.

Meanwhile, a recent promotional poster from the makers reads, "First show kicks off @ 10.00 AM on April 25, and it only gets better from there."

Film industry tracker AB George shared the initial box office figures via X (formerly Twitter), calling the response "a super trend in the initial hours," and noted that the performance is currently ahead of other recent Malayalam releases that had heavier promotional pushes.

Thudarum Cast, Crew, and Production Details

Thudarum marks the return of director Tharun Moorthy, known for his work in socially rooted narratives. This time, he teams up with writer K. R. Sunil to co-pen the screenplay. Produced by M. Renjith under the Rejaputhra Visual Media banner, the film features music composed by Jakes Bejoy.

The storyline and character details have been kept under wraps for now, but it is confirmed that Mohanlal plays a character named Shanmugham, with Shobana portraying Lalitha. The supporting cast includes Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, Farhaan Faasil, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Irshad Ali, Thomas Mathew, Krishna Prabha, Prakash Varma, and Aravind.

The production team behind Thudarum includes Shaji Kumar as the director of photography and editors Shafeeque VB and Nishadh Yusuf.
