Thudarum Kerala Bookings Open Now: Thudarum, the upcoming Malayalam-language crime drama headlined by Mohanlal and Shobana, is set for theatrical release on April 25, 2025. As anticipation builds for the return of the celebrated on-screen pair, advance bookings officially opened across theaters in Kerala at 10 AM today, following an announcement made yesterday.

Thudarum Cast And Crew

Directed by Tharun Moorthy, Thudarum marks a notable collaboration with writer K.R. Sunil, who co-wrote the screenplay with the director. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Farhaan Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, Irshad Ali, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Thomas Mathew, Krishna Praba, Prakash Varma, and Aravind in key supporting roles.

The story follows Shanmugham, played by Mohanlal, and Lalitha, portrayed by Shobana. While specific plot details have been kept under wraps, the film is expected to delve into layered narratives rooted in crime and drama, with a focus on interpersonal dynamics and societal undercurrents.

Produced by M. Renjith under the banner of Rejaputhra Visual Media, the film went through an extensive production phase, with principal photography taking place over 99 days between April and November 2024. Cinematographer Shaji Kumar has handled the visuals, while the editing was jointly carried out by Shafeeque V.B. and Nishadh Yusuf.

Music for Thudarum has been composed by Jakes Bejoy, who is also responsible for the original background score. Vishnu Govind helmed audiography, while Gokul Das oversaw production design. The film's makeup department was led by veteran artist Pattanam Rasheed, and costume design was managed by Sameera Saneesh.

Executive production duties were carried out by Avantika Renjith, with Dixon Poduthas as the production controller. Binu Pappu also served as the co-director, and Prakash K. Madhu worked as the chief associate director.

A new poster for the film, released recently, mentioned that the "first show kicks off @ 10.00 AM on April 25, and it only gets better from there," adding to the ongoing promotional buzz in the lead-up to the release.

With bookings now open and promotional activity picking up pace, Thudarum is poised to draw attention from Malayalam cinema audiences eager to witness the return of Mohanlal and Shobana on the big screen.
