According to estimates provided by industry tracker AB George, the film has grossed ₹66.20 crore in the state so far, with early estimates for Sunday, May 4, suggesting a collection of ₹7.50 crore.

The film, released in theaters on April 25, 2025, has become the fourth highest-grossing Malayalam film to date. Its performance is notable for its consistency, where occupancy levels remained robust through its second weekend.

Thudarum: Crime Story Set in a Hill Town

Set in the hilly town of Ranni, Thudarum follows the story of Shanmugham-nicknamed "Benz"-a taxi driver whose life takes an unexpected turn after his vehicle becomes entangled in a police-related incident. The narrative explores how an ordinary man is pulled into a dark and complex web involving law enforcement and personal loss.

Mohanlal plays the central character of Shanmugham, while Shobana appears as his wife, Lalitha. The supporting cast includes Prakash Varma as CI George Mathan, Binu Pappu as SI Benny Kurian, and Thomas Mathew as Pavi, Shanmugham's son.
