Thudarum Kerala Box Office Collection: Nearly a month after its theatrical release, Thudarum, the Malayalam crime thriller led by Mohanlal, continues to post solid numbers at the Kerala box office. According to early estimates from industry tracker AB George, the film has grossed approximately ₹113.45 crore in Kerala alone, making it the highest-grossing Malayalam film ever in the state.

Thudarum, which hit theaters on April 25, 2025, has maintained steady momentum throughout its run, with reports indicating a daily collection of over ₹1 crore for 27 consecutive days in Kerala. This performance has propelled the film to the top of the all-time list for the region, surpassing previous record holders in the industry.

The film Thudarum, directed by Tharun Moorthy, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside K. R. Sunil, follows the story of Shanmugham, also known as Benz - a former stuntman turned taxi driver who becomes entangled in a criminal investigation after his car is impounded by the police. What begins as a personal setback soon pulls him into a deeper web involving police misconduct and a mysterious disappearance.

The film's lead cast includes Mohanlal and Shobana, with supporting roles played by Prakash Varma, Farhaan Faasil, and others. The project was produced by M. Renjith under the Rejaputhra Visual Media banner and features music by Jakes Bejoy, cinematography by Shaji Kumar, and editing by Shafeeque VB and Nishadh Yusuf.

Thudarum Nears ₹226 Crore Mark

On a global scale, Thudarum has also made significant strides. The film's worldwide gross currently stands at approximately ₹225.75 crore, making it the third highest-grossing Malayalam film overall, behind Empuraan and Manjummel Boys. Its worldwide share is estimated at ₹94.7 crore, second only to Empuraan's ₹115 crore.

The film's success has added another feather to Mohanlal's cap. AB George noted in a separate post that in the last 56 days, Mohanlal's films have drawn about 1.27 crore viewers to theaters in Kerala alone, contributing to a cumulative gross of ₹200 crore during the period.

As Thudarum enters its fifth week, it remains to be seen how much further the film can go in terms of box office milestones.
